Illustration for the children book "Histórias da Ajudaris" (in english "Stories of Ajudaris") to a story called "Amizade" (in english "Friendship") -- it's about a little chick that only had one leg and all his brothers made fun of him because he was different.

It's interesting to see how a kid from the 3rd grade -- the writer of this story is actually that aged -- portrait discrimination. This story has a happy ending though (:

Aww poor little chick. It'd be nice to get a copy from that book, I know how children are mean to others and maybe this book'll give a good lesson to them.

Love the colors and the expressions on the chicks, specially their mom and that one-legged chick is just lovable. Poor baby!!

Yeah, I know. Kids can be unbelieveable cruel, but also intelligent. With some real insight. Whoever wrote that story, it must be one of those amazing kids ... Really good picture too. Espeially like the mother's (I assume that it is their mother) expression.

Children are alot more intelagent then people are led to believe ya know?...and I too would like to buy a copy...you should buy some for us and while your at it...translate it to english...pweeeeeeeeezzzz????? :la:

I love reading stories that children have writen I still have my old stories I wrote when I was a child

reminds me of the pet chicken someone I know had....it only had one leg too....tho it didn't have a happy ending....family ended up making chicken soup that day.... but thats a very cute picture! and sad, but siblings make fun of each other....sadly....
